    Just installed mine with the AL120 V2 fans 😍😍 Just need to upgrade my psu from 850watt bronze to a 1000watt gold with pcie 5.0. My Ryzen 9 7900X eats a lot of power lucky the RTX 4070 Super don't need as much as the others in the same category. But it keeps my cpu "cold" 39°C when it's idle and up to 78°C when gaming in 4k. Also love the pump and the different heads you can change.

    i am conflicted to trust thermaltake, products i had in the past were pretty meh, not bad not great, and also theres the issue when they stole Caselabs idea... TWICE and even went as far as being douchebags to sue Caselabs, hard pass, mostly for customer trust. I think id go with Arctic as always, pretty happy with my extremely long named arctic case fans, 3 years and still strong!

    Edit: Xilence reacted to the non-reactive ARGB/Fan Controller. Moving forward, all Gleam cases have a new controller installed. This time functioning as expected. The existing stock has been updated by manually opening every box and replacing the controller. To whoever was in charge of replacing hundreds if not thousands of controllers, I'm sorry.

      yeah, totally.. the cable is just a couple cents, better have it and not need it than need it and not have it. and since it disappears behind the fan frame it might also be an advantage to not have them braided because they are thinner that way. ;)

    • @Fin1nishingMove
      @Fin1nishingMove 3 дня назад

      Prevents unnecessary noise when you start up the computer (and the fans briefly spin up to 100% before the stored fan curves are read). Not having a switch or an adapter provided is what makes something like the P12 Max or P14 Max a pretty bad buy if you care about noise, because your computer will (briefly) sound like a jet engine every time you turn it on.

    • @v0ldy54
      @v0ldy54 3 дня назад

      @@Fin1nishingMove or, if you really care about those 2 seconds of noise, maybe just don't buy fans who spin up to 3k rpm that then you have to slow down with a resistor?

    • @Fin1nishingMove
      @Fin1nishingMove 3 дня назад

      @@v0ldy54 Having a switch or a resistor provided is always better than not having it, if the fan goes over 1800--2000 RPM. That is my point. What I buy or don't buy should not concern you.

    • @tinygriffy
      @tinygriffy 3 дня назад

      It is nice to have the feature, in case your BIOS / control SW is not so forthcoming... a resistor is a bit cheap though.. I mean an arduino and a mosfet cost you like .. 2 bucks, and you can even control it via software then.. (including the RGB in case your fan has it.)

    Hi, would you recommend that I use this over the p28 as a case fan? I have an asus ap201 case with 6 p28s, and the noise is a bit annoying at 1500rpm+. I would like the quitest fans for case use at medium/high rpm, I know that the Noctua A12X25 has pretty much the best noise /performance ratio, but they're really expensive where I live, so the next best option in terms of price would be appreciated.

  • @zackzeed
    @zackzeed 3 дня назад

    Dismantling a GPU will Not void the warranty.... obviously only if you damage it. You deffifnitely NEED to have fans on the card, at least at stock speeds. If you undervolt the gpu than maybe those case fans would be enough but it's Big maybe... The air from the case fans is just To dispersed. You can also undervolt the card with the slapped on fans. But at some point you might as well watercool the card lol. Man, I appreciate the video, but not how you did it. Do some more research and don't mislead people with some of the info.
